Cali_FID is a volunteer-run rescue. Instead of maintaining a traditional facility, all of our animals are cared for within a network of foster homes where they receive daily, personalized attention.

How to Meet Our Animals

Private Appointments: Submit an Adoption Application first. Once approved, we will schedule a meeting with a volunteer and your prospective pet.

Public Events: Follow our social media pages to see when our next public adoption event is scheduled!

Potential adopters are expected to:

• Demonstrate knowledge of suitable living environment, proper care and feeding of the animal they are seeking to adopt.
• Provide the appropriate cage/ enclosure for the animal they wish to adopt.
• Provide veterinary and personal references.
• Provide a completed, signed contract.
• Pay a non refundable (cash only) adoption fee (for each animal).
